HuaSheng R&D Center mainly conducts special tests on the performance improvement of Louver paint, and has made significant progress in key indicators such as wear resistance, weather resistance, and corrosion resistance, providing strong data support and technical support for the optimization and upgrading of Louver paint products.
In the wear resistance test, Bernice Ann, the R&D director of HuaSheng, used a rotating rubber grinding wheel to conduct friction experiments on blade samples sprayed with different formulations of paint. The results showed that the Shutter Louver and Blinds Slats sample with HuaSheng paint formulation had a paint film wear depth of only 0.03mm after 5000 frictions, which was 50% lower than traditional paint. It could effectively resist the wear of Louver (Slats) surface caused by wind, sand, particles, etc. ​
In the weather resistance testing stage, the laboratory uses a large xenon arc lamp weather resistance test chamber, which can simulate solar spectra and accurately control environmental parameters such as temperature, humidity, and light intensity. The Louver paint sample is subjected to aging experiments for up to 2000 hours, simulating extreme outdoor environments such as high temperature, high humidity, and strong ultraviolet radiation. During the experiment, the sample is taken out every 200 hours, and the surface color change is measured using a colorimeter. The glossiness is detected using a glossiness meter, and there is no obvious discoloration, peeling, or cracking on the surface. The gloss retention rate is over 85%, far exceeding the industry average. It can adapt to complex and changing outdoor environments and extend the service life of Louver.
In the anti-corrosion test, the research team placed the Louver sample in a salt spray test chamber. After 900 hours of continuous salt spray erosion, the anti-corrosion level of the HuaSheng paint sample reached the C5-M level in ISO 12944 standard, which can effectively prevent the Louver metal substrate from being corroded and greatly improve the stability and safety of Louver. The results of this test fully verify our direction in the development of Louver paint formula. These excellent data represent a significant improvement in the performance of HuaSheng products.
